Honda Talon Front or Rear Limit Strap Kits
Shock Therapy has a cure for the front end CLUNK in Honda Talon models! As most people know, at full extension the shocks can make a loud clunk that feels like a hammer against the chassis. If you run aftermarket, heavier wheels and tires this clunk gets much worse. Although the shocks have extension stops internally they are tuned to the factory wheel and tire weight and can't manage any changes in the system so a front end clunk has become the new NORMAL in UTV's. Well, not any more. Our new limit strap kit stops the extension clunk instantly. Limit straps have been used in racing for decades. Trophy trucks and other big off road racing classes have considered them a must forever and so should you. Some of the benefits with our limit strap kits are:
Installation Instructions for Honda Talon Limit Straps
PATENTED, billet aluminum, laser engraved, upper strap mounts
Adjustable, tight clearance clevis system allowing you to adjust the strap length perfectly
Quad layered straps for the best strength and longevity
PATENTED, tether system that locates the strap next to the shock at full compression
Accurate sized holes in the strap ends to match the metric hardware in your car
Stainless steel spacers that don't rust or flex like aluminum spacers can
Grade 8 hardware with pinch nuts
Mounting system with the least leverage on the strap
Less strap stretch and longer strap life
Added life for your CVs and Axles and STOPS ALL EXTENSION CLUNKING!
The best fix for your front end noise is here. Limit straps are standard issue for racers and now they should be for YOU too!
We do not offer a kit for the rear shocks yet. The reason is the rear shocks are larger in diameter and have no extension clunk issues. If you would like a set for the rear anyway we will be offering them soon. We just want you to know that they are not really needed.
Limit straps are a wearing item just like brake pads. They have a lifespan and will need to be replaced once they are worn out. Although they may last longer than your UTV, they are not guaranteed for life.

Simple the only strap-on I would ever purchase. Stops the clunk and save the marriage between your shocks. I’m very impressed again with another of your products. Just pull the trigger .
I have had these on for a long time I always wait to give reviews. They have held up very well and still look like new. No more knocking
I got tired of hearing the "clunk" when transitioning over one dune to the next, especially knowing that it is not good long term on my shocks or CV's. Installed the limit straps in about an hour, they were not complicated and the U-Tube instructions were really easy to understand. Just got back from Glamis this weekend and couldn't be more satisfied, not a single clunk and made the ride quieter and more enjoyable. I wish I would of installed these sooner! I realize the straps will stretch and I will have to readjust eventually but sounds like it is a 10 minute job. If you are on the fence about purchasing these, give in and you wont regret it!
This is a great product. Easy to install and the clunk was gone next time out on the trail.
I had the ride improvement system done to my Talon X 4 Live Valve..the ride improved for sure but the "top out" in the front increased a lot..the limit straps were a game changer for me, immediate results with no front end clunk or noise at all..also, super easy instal with a step by step video..a must have!
I was tired of hearing the hard hit of the shock bottoming out when riding in the desert. Asked my dealer about it and they said don’t worry about it! Ugg!! Found this solution and it works !!! after the first 50 miles I have not felt or heard the clunk. Thank you for offering a solution to this problem!! Would highly recommend!!
installation was easy following along with the video. Fine tuning this weekend on a ride . the ability to adjust the strap over time is far superior than replacing a strap.
excellent fit and finish. Not sure it is really worth this much money but the cool factor and function make up for it.
