Ride Improvement System for Dynamix 2 seat
You must call us for an appointment for this kit. You will be mailing your shocks to us for the work
The Dynamix is an amazing system. The car has the ability to change shock settings on the fly to help prevent nose dive under braking, rear squat under acceleration, right or left side changes to help with body roll and stiffen the system for jump landings. You can also adjust the system from the dash to three stiffness settings as needed. Even though the Dynamix does all these things, there is still a ton of improvement in ride quality to be had. Since the system adjusts the shocks to compensate for external inputs, it really does not care or even know what the shock has for internal valving, piston, oil and coil springs. It simply adjusts what is already there, stiffer or softer as you drive. So, if the spring kit is too stiff or the shock internals are too stiff the Dynamix simply is adjusting a STIFF system even stiffer or a little softer. That being said, our internal mods and spring kits vastly improve the shock package on the car to be much more plush in the chop and more stable in the rough (stopping rear bucking) so the Dynamix can make it's adjustments to a much better shock set up as you drive. Simply put, with our set up in the shocks the Dynamix can now adjust a much much better shock set up on the fly.
After extensive testing of the Dynamix we were very impressed with it's abilities but there were many things we wanted to improve on if possible. One, we felt that the car was stiff overall. Even in the comfort setting it still is abusive in the small chop and chatter and this can make you very sore after a short day of riding. Two, we experienced rear bucking in the whoops and jumps that made us hesitate quite often when those items came up on the trail. Three, the transition from comfort to sport was pretty small and hard to notice so we developed a more pronounced difference between the settings that makes a substantial difference when you make a setting change.
Stage 1 RIS, the first stage in our RIS system is internal shock mods. This is not just a valving change. We modify the valving, piston, oil, adjuster mechanism and shafts to create a much more plush ride without sacrificing bottom out resistance. As a matter of fact, our internal mods give 3 times the plush ride quality while still adding 2.5 times the bottom out resistance for the big hits too. All of these internal changes get rid of the chop and chatter roughness and make the transition into the bump stage much more progressive and comfortable. You can run longer and faster with out feeling beat up and your overall speeds will go up tremendously allowing you to leave your friends in the dust.
Stage 1 RIS $749.95 per set of 4 shocks.
Stage 2 RIS is a full dual rate spring kit. The factory upper springs are nearly collapsed new. This means you are riding on the stiffer lower spring most of the time and this contributes to the rough ride quality and rear bucking. By adding our dual rate spring kit you get a full length upper spring and much more progressive spring rates. This make the ride more plush, less bucking and adds more bottom out resistance to the car as well. Running this spring kit in conjunction with our internal shock mods makes the ride and handling the best it can possibly be.
Stage 2 RIS $1,549.90 Includes shock internals $749.95 and level 4 spring kit $799.95
Stage 3 RIS includes the first two and adds our adjustable rear sway bar. The factory sway bar is not adjustable and it is fairly light with respect to controlling body roll. Our bar is much more substantial and it is adjustable. This means that you can set the bar for your driving style and terrain needs, both of which are different for every one.
Stage 3 RIS $2,099.85, includes shock internals $749.95, Level 4 spring kit $799.95, and rear adjustable sway bar $549.95
Stage 4 RIS, includes the first 3 stages as well as our adjustable Front sway bar. Just as with the rear bar the factory bar is not adjustable. The front bar controls nose dive onto the outside tire will turning into the corner and this can be very important to your driving comfort and confidence, not to mention your corner speeds. Adding the front bar completes the whole suspension package and makes it the most tune able system in existence.
Stage 4 RIS $2,299.80, includes shock work, $749.95, level 4 spring kit $799.95, rear sway bar kit $549.95 and front bar $199.95
These stages can be done in any order you like. This is just the order we recommend.
