XP Turbo/ XP 1000 with Fox shocks Front or Rear Limit Strap Kit
Finally a cure for the front end CLUNK in the Polaris RZR XP 1000! As most people know, at full extension the shocks can make a loud clunk that feels like a hammer against the chassis. If you run aftermarket, heavier wheels and tires this clunk gets much worse. Although the shocks have extension stops internally they are tuned to the factory wheel and tire weight and can't manage any changes in the system so a front end clunk has become the new NORMAL in UTV's. Well, not any more. Our new limit strap kit stops the front end clunk instantly. Limit straps have been used in racing for decades. Trophy trucks and other big off road racing classes have considered them a must forever and so should you.

Limit straps are a wearing item just like brake pads. They have a lifespan and will need to be replaced once they are worn out. Although they may last longer than your UTV, they are not guaranteed for life.

The lower bracket on the strap would not go onto the bolt with my Super ATV lower as arms. I called ST and they suggested grinding the bracket a little to allow it to fit. After grinding, the bracket fit with no problem. Only had to take a couple of millimeters off. I’m sure it’s impossible to design a product that is going to work with every aftermarket product without running into a few that need some minor modifications. After install, I took it out to the desert and did some high speed whoops and jumps with not more clunking. I would definitely recommend product. They look like they are built to take a lot of abuse.
Straps are great. I have Super ATV after market A-arms and the lower shock mount hits the limit strap bracket. We had to grind a little from the strap bracket and shock bracket to get it to fit. Not the straps fault it was A-arm design. This did not take away from the strength of shock bracket or limit strap. All worked well and no more clunking and banging of the shocks. Hard to adjust once on vehicle.
I am hooked on Shock Therapy! I have the springs the limit straps and the sway bar in front. More to come,,,,, go get you sum!!!!!
Theses are amazing, however, this is my 3rd pair, the Hex bolts that hold bracket to shock are WAY to cheap , and suck , so end up having to cut off so have to buy new when we service our shocks !
